We enjoyed our week, but won’t stay at this location again. It needs an extreme deep cleaning. We had some issues but the property owner was prompt in helping to get them resolved.
It took multiple attempts to get the check in instructions the day of. When you drive from 15 hours away it’s concerning when information is not provided until that morning. When we got to the condo it had not been cleaned and the previous guests left it in completely gross condition. We were supposed to be able to check in at 4 p.m., we didn’t get in until about 10 p.m. when the very sweet cleaning ladies had the opportunity to finish cleaning the unit. The owner just told us to settle in while they were cleaning. That is awkward so we left until the job was completed.
The next day we went to the beach chairs and umbrella that come with the unit. There are instructions that tell you to call Kyle if the cushions and umbrella are not out there. Well Kyle informed us that we were supposed to provide a 24 hour notice to have them set up. How were we supposed to know that?
We sent pictures to the property owner to show the ripped screens and mold growing in the kitchen cabinets and air vents. Hopefully some of the issues will be resolved for future guests.
