Exclusive Beachfront Condo. Paradise!

We really enjoyed our stay in Palma Real #203. It was clean, quiet, and everything worked. We went to decompress and this place delivered. The balcony space was perfect for early morning coffee and a book with the sounds of breaking waves on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the quality of the sheets and towels were great. The grounds, common areas, and pool/hot tub were meticulously maintained every day. The location is off the beaten path, but a less than 10 minute walk to the town square, groceries, restaurants, and local ambiance. We didn't end up needing anything, but Eric made himself available and the mgmt company office is only 10 minutes away and provides emergency numbers if something unexpected comes up.

Puerto-Morelos is charming and accessible, beautiful beaches nearby and the village is authentic and welcoming. The nesrby container terminal and industrial surroundings might throw you off at first glance but no big deal; actual condo building, pool and courtyard are really nice, and make the slightly grungy drive in of no real consequence. All in all, this is really a good vacation place.

We just finished a month long stay in Palma Real #203 and we had a fantastic time. Being on the south end of Puerto Morelos was a plus because you are just a 10 minute walk from a brand new Chaudraui grocery store and some of the best little restaurants and cafes. The grocery store carries everything you could possibly want at reasonable prices (the freshly made mixed ceviche is delicious for a cheap price). We enjoyed wonderful dinners at El Campanerios, Spegghettino’s, Al Chimchurri, DK, Pelicanos, etc. The condo grounds and pool and hot tub are kept perfectly by Gustavo, the groundskeeper, who is super helpful. Even when the blender went out, Mel from Mayan Riviera Properties (which services the Condo) brought us a new one the same day! We highly recommend hiring a boat from the marina to go snorkeling on the reef—fantastic and we only paid $30 total for both of us for an hour. Being close to the port was actually fun as we enjoyed watching as a barge would be unloaded and re-loaded—a barge only comes in about once a week. We felt safe here the entire time and even walked at night. The amazing location of this condo allows you to be in a quiet, serene location while being just a 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops and nightlife.
