Great location, uncomfortable otherwise.
Great Location and Amazing Views. There were small ants which made you feel a bit bonkers but maybe I stayed a bit too long. 9 weeks total. They did send an exterminator a week later. I must admit the host did not make me feel very wanted or valued as a guest.Considering how long I stayed it would have been nice if he was at least a bit more polite. I won't get into too much detail but it is quite impolite to rarely check in but when you do be bossy and rude about it. For example: It should not be expected that I will be okay with workers coming in to the apartment on Friday when I only found out the Wednesday prior for a full day of work and heavy construction. I wasn't informed and they probably assumed I would be at work. (I found out accidentally when inquiring about the ants and some other small things) The host was very aggressive and defensive stating he reached out to me 2 weeks in advance. (They delayed the work but it was still uncomfortable having to pull him up on the timeline and accusatory language. He admitted he did not try to inform me). The biggest faux pas for me was that he reached out to me a good 2 weeks before my original departure date not to ask how i was doing but to ask me when I would be checking out so his aunt could inspect the place and assess etc. That made me feel very unwanted as a guest. He was so focused on his deposit and finding flaws that he made me feel uncomfortable being there. Unfortunate! I left the place as I found it.

Great reasonable place, walking distance from all San Juan attractions.
Michael's space is in the heart of Condado walking distance almost everything worth seeing in San Juan. We walked to Old San Juan, to the Museum of Puerto Rican Art, to the La Playita Del Condado (a great little beach) to Velauno for paddle boarding at the amazing Laguna Del Condado, and to all the amazing places to eat in the neighborhood. Maritza (Michael's aunt) recommended a bunch of places to eat Puerto Rican food in the neighborhood and we weren't disappointed. We used our car for a day trip to the El Yunque National Park. We also drove to the forts (Cristobel and El Morro) but could have easily walked it. The parking in right below the apartment building, it is usually tight and got some getting used to, but we didn't really use our car much. The apartment itself is much nicer than the photos. It faces the lagoon where you can see people paddle boarding and swimming all day long. The place is comfortable and clean with two AC units, one in the main space and one in the bedroom. The bed is super comfortable. The place has all the amenities one could hope for. We made christmas dinner in the apartment since the kitchen was quite well equipped. We also watched Netflix on our last day there since there was Sony media player. There were fresh towels and beach towels, as well as beach chairs that we carried with us to the beach. The only issue we had was that the internet dropped out a few times. Michael and his aunt Maritza were super attentive to our needs. I haven't experienced this amount of promptness and attention from any hosts I have dealt with before on Airbnb or Homeaway. They were amazing. I highly recommend this place. You'll get the comforts of an expensive hotel at a great price.

Relaxing vacation
This was our second time staying at Micheals condo it is very nice, clean, great view, in a safe building, centrally located to everything from transportation to Old San Juan, restaurants, clubs, spas,and beaches. The condo is so relaxing especially when the wall of windows is open in the morning for breakfast or in the evening to let the lite breeze from the lagoon. And the best for last, Maritza is The GREATEST HOST EVER.

Great Stay!
We had a great stay in this condo. The listing is dead on. The view is terrific. From the mountains to the buildings, even the paddle borders, fish, and manatees all visible from the balcony make for an interesting scene to take in. The view at night is even better. We kept the wall of doors open the entire time we were in the unit. Amazing weather helped that out. The place has all that we needed. We ate in the unit daily, no issues. Laundry machines in the unit are brand new and worked great. The bed is not a cheap mattress, nor are the linens. We slept great. This is not always the case. No issue here. Condado is a great place, we love it. We keep coming back to this area. It is an urban/beach experience. If you don't want the noise or the hustle, then this place is not for you. It can be noisy even at night. It was not a problem for us though. Slept like babies. Think of Miami, only nicer in my opinion. Food in the area is amazing. Many choices all within a short walk. The beaches are great too. Several options real close by. Michael and Maritza were great. He was easy to deal with and was quick to respond prior to the trip and she was a jewel. Actually, our experience with her meeting us and setting things or follow up was 100% first class. Thank you so much Maritza. We have never stayed in the same place twice and we have done vrbo for 10 years. This will likely be the first place that we will return to as soon as we can. Thanks for a great stay!

The View, The View
The word fantastic is often overused but not in this case. This apt. is fantastic. The location is ideal. You are within walking distance of three major hotels- the Condado Plaza, the La Concha and the Marriott. All offer great restaurants and casinos plus live entertainment. Fast food restaurants are also nearby. You can start your morning with Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts . If Sports Bars and open air retaurants with typical latin foods are more up your alley, those are also within walking distance. Traveling into Old San Juan is very easy. The bus stops on the street and you can walk throughout the Old City once you get there. Now to the apt. itself and that can be summed up in one word WOW ! The minute you walk in , the view takes over. The wall of sliding glass doors look out over the lagoon from the 11th floor. The furnishings are all high end , from the wine glasses to the sheets and towels. Everything you need is at hand for you. What I enjoyed the most was sitting in the living room with the doors open and just relaxing with a glass of wine after a day of sunning on the beach and getting ready to go to dinner. It felt as if the apt. was in the middle of the lagoon, just floating on the water. Ther are no large jet skis allowed, so all you see are the kayakers and the paddle boaters on the water. The view from this height, when lit up at night is as beautiful and relaxing as you will ever experience. The excitement is right outside your door, but here is where you can unwind with a good book, and enjoy the breeze that comes from the ocean and the lagoon from the comfort of your terrace. Working with Michael is a pleasure. He is quick to respond to any questions you might have and his main concern is that you have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Maritza is always on hand should there be any problem or if you need information for getting around the area. If there is one regret that I have , it is that I didn't spend enough time here. The pictures don't do this apt. any justice. The view can only be appreciated once you have experienced it, and the comforts of home provided by the owner in his choice of furnishings are all top notch. I most definitely intend to return.
