Spectacular Lake View, 2 Master Suites, Kävele Beach, Laajakaista Wifi

Everything about this property was perfect for our family of six. Great location for all kinds of activities, and we made a lot of use of the beach at Meeks Bay. The house was exceptionally clean and very well-stocked with everything we needed. Great view of the lake from the deck. Nice quiet lot at the end of the cul de sac. Loved it. Couldn’t recommend it any more highly.

The owners are clearly very involved in the care of this house, so one feels immediately at home there. Quality kitchen and bath supplies are left out for guests' use. Cooking utensils are high grade (unlike the scratched Teflon found in most rental homes). The home has been thought-out in a way that reflects the ongoing involvement and care of the owners.

There are beautiful views from most of the windows that create the feeling of being up in the trees. Sitting at the computer table in the living room, you can look across the lake and watch the afternoon storm clouds as they gather above the blue-grey mountains. There are no neighbors on either side of the house, so the feeling of being in the woods is complete. There is also no traffic noise--something that compromises the peacefulness of many houses close to the lake that have views.

There is a big laundry room with two dryers, a convenient entry ("mud") room for removing and storing shoes and boots, and care has been taken to protect lower-story windows with an electric "bear fence"-- an important feature for any Tahoe home, especially one that backs up to the forest.

There was only one thing I would change if it were my house. I would make a couple more of the living room windows open-able and I'd add a couple of ceiling fans. This would be a good precaution for days when it is unusually hot.

The house is perfectly situated to get to Meeks Bay, Bliss and Sugar Pine State Parks, and Emerald Bay-- the best parts of the lake.

I've been renting in Tahoe for about 25 summers, and so far, this has been my favorite house.

The house itself was great for our 3 generations. From 72 to 3 years old. Very well stocked with all the basics and very CLEAN. We had a short drive to Meeks Bay and all it has to offer. The house has a lovely view of the lake.

We loved this house, it was clean and well kept and the views were unreal. We were so impressed by all the little things already provided, including all the food items stocked and the games and various things for kids. Brought our own baby gate for the stairs just in case, which we used a lot as the living room is upstairs (typical for a house with such a view). Thank you!
