If you commit to us, we commit to you - in other words, if someone requests a monthly rental next week, I wouldn't cancel yours and take their [more lucrative] booking. I am committed to you. By the same token if you canceled your reservation a month before coming, we would've turned down other renters between now and then, so we cannot automatically refund you your money when u cancel. We are a "small business", we are not like mega hotel or airline, that routinely over-books, factoring in possibly future cancellations. You want to book flights, you need 100% certainty of availability - you've got it, from us, but we expect the same from our renters, which is why we suggest that if there is a chance of you canceling, take out Travel Insurance at time of booking. Our cancellation policy is therefor as follows: - We never over-book. Should the need arise for you to cancel, we will work with you as follows: - Because Cabo is a destination resort, please call us at least sixty days in advance of the start date of your booking and we'll be pleased to refund 50% of your 50% deposit and the balance only if & when we rebook "your" canceled dates • If you cancel within 60 days of arrival time, after we have your full payment, monies received can only be refunded, if canceled dates are re-booked We will make every effort to re-book "your" canceled dates and refund you in full, but remember, Cabo is NOT a spur-of-the-moment travel destination !!
